(SCKEDD) is a Kansas non-profit corporation, an Economic Development District (EDD) and a Certified Development Company (CDC). SCKEDD’s designation as an EDD is from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the CDC designation is from the Small Business Administration (SBA). SCKEDD’s service area covers 14 member counties including Butler, Chautauqua, Cowley, Elk, Greenwood, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Marion, McPherson, Reno, Rice, Sedgwick, and Sumner counties. The resources available through SCKEDD consist of numerous loan programs under SCKEDD’s decision-making supervision, as well as loan programs with which we work but do not make the final lending decision.
